•Launched in 2013 La Fille De Berlin is a gender neutral amber floral fragrance created by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake for Serge Lutens, continuing the partnership the two have had for years.
• The fragrance opens with notes of Rose and Geranium, has a middle note of Palmarosa and base notes of Honey, Moss and Patchouli.
• The Rose is the star here, and it really is the centrepiece of the fragrance.
• It starts sweet and soft, welcoming almost, before developing into a jammier, richer rose, which is calmed down somewhat by the grassier Palmarosa.
• Despite looking simple from the notes, its a wonderfully nuanced, and complex fragrance.
